Sunny day January 28, 1986 did not augur sad. Brilliant space shuttle "Challenger" stood on the launch complex in anticipation of the command "Start". Happy crew - seven astronauts - for concrete slabs spaceport hurried to the ship in flight, which promised to be a historic one. Among them, a simple school teacher Christa McAuliffe. She has earned the right to the first humans a lesson right out of the cosmos, to tell all the children of America, and maybe all the children of the Earth about how beautiful our planet is, how big the universe is, how it is necessary to protect this expensive for us, a grain of sand, floating in the vast vast ocean of the universe ... But the lesson of this did not happen. By 73 seconds of flight, in front of all who accompanied the crew to the sky, there was an explosion swallowed the ship and crew ...

Space shuttle disaster "Challenger" and the tragic fate of all members ekinazha strongly affected the work of Andrei Klimkovsky. The first tunes have appeared the next day after the crash on takeoff. But the last play was written only 10 years later. All these years, the composer finished the melody, polished arrangements, and in 1996 first put chelostny album. This record has not heard virtually none, because a year later, a musician full replay music and early 1998 at the Central House of Journalists is presentation of the album on which the Representatives from NASA, as well as the staff of the major space centers in Russia. Date of presentation almost coincided with the 12th anniversary of the tragic event.
